Our bandwidth providers are located within the same facility which provides The Burgh Live with a direct fiber connection to the Internet. Our colocation service provides a cost effective solution for hosting your business infrastructure and disaster recovery needs. Dedicated Servers

The Burgh Live's dedicated servers provide you with all the benefits of a colocated server without the hassle of purchasing and configuring the server yourself. Your server will be a Dell PowerEdge rack mount server customized to your needs in regards to processors, memory, disk storage, and redundancy.

Virtual Private Servers

The Burgh Live's virtual private server (VPS) provides your business with their own server without the need of physical hardware. This service allows The Burgh Live to provide clients with their own server environment that they can customize at a reduced cost since resources are shared with other VPS owners. Web Hosting

The Burgh Live's web hosting provides the necessary servers and services to store and present your web site to the Internet. Security Solutions

The Burgh Live has partnered with KillerSecurity to provide security solutions to your business. KillerSecurity is a security system for member based web sites. KillerSecurity automatically detects password leaks and blocks users trying to access them. The Burgh Live implementated the KillerSecurity system on the DailyDorm.com web site to prevent abuse by eliminating shared accounts. Requiring each user to have an account provides the DailyDorm.com staff with user demographics to market advertising towards their users. The DailyDorm.com is a free service and relies on user demographics for advertising to maintain their servers. The KillerSecurity system can also block users based on the amount of data that they have downloaded in the past 24 hours. This feature blocks users from deliberately attempting to copy mass amounts of content from the DailyDorm.com web site.

The Burgh Live's web design and development team will create an online presence for your business or organization. The Burgh Live's voice over IP services provide your business with the ability to have virtual office phone numbers and in office PBX services. The Burgh Live uses Asterisk, the most popular open source telephone system in the world, to provide virtual phone numbers and PBX services. A virtual number is a phone number (DID) in another city such as New York City, Los Angeles, etc that rings your current business phone number. For example, your office may be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a 412.555.xxxx phone number. With our VoIP service you can have a Los Angeles phone number (310.555.xxxx) or any other major city that when called rings to your office in Pittsburgh (412.555.xxxx). This service allows you to have a presence in multiple cities where are not already located. The Burgh Live's PBX service can either be installed in your business or hosted in our data center.
